The Autumn Issue of Our Newsletter Is Now Available

3. November 2025

The autumn Newsletter cover features a page from our anniversary project: the MOSAIK special issue on Johann Sebastian Bach in Leipzig. We are delighted by the high level of interest in this magazine issue

and are sending all members a copy with the Newsletter.

The autumn issue of our Newsletter also offers information on our upcoming Bach Festivals: in November in Munich (our 99th Bach Festival) and in June 2026 in Leipzig, when we will be celebrating the 100th Bach Festival of the Neue Bachgesellschaft! Other highlights include a report about the discovery of early NBG documents from the years 1904 to 1919 at the Bachhaus Eisenach, an interview with Louis-Noël Bestion de Camboulas (organist, harpsichordist and director of the ensemble “Les Surprises” in France) and an article in which Prof. Gerhard Weinberger describes his favourite Bach piece. In the column “300 Years Ago”, you will learn about an interesting experience that Bach had in Dresden in September 1725.

Embedded in the articles of the Bach Magazine, the Newsletter once again offers a wealth of fascinating information about Bach and his music. As always, French, English and German versions are available. We hope you will enjoy the many interesting articles!
