Membership Fees and Application for Membership
The Neue Bachgesellschaft needs your active interest. We therefore would
like to ask you personally: Would you like to support us? Would you
also like to become a member of the Neue Bachgesellschaft?
Please feel personally addressed and also remember the next Bach Festivals,
the Bach House in Eisenach, the latest Bach Yearbook and, especially,
your happiness and inner enrichment.
We have, meanwhile, become a society with a membership of more than
3500 from around the world. You really should decide to become a member
of the Neue Bachgesellschaft. You can be assured that we will be very
happy about your involvement.
The members of the Neue Bachgesellschaft receive
the Bach Yearbook (Bach-Jahrbuch) which represents the latest state
of affairs in the field of Bach research
the Information Leaflet which biannually reports on the latest information
about Bach from at home and abroad
free admission to the Bach House in Eisenach, which is the property
of the Neue Bachgesellschaft
Membership card - donation certificate
We point out again that the new (permanent) membership
card will be valid for a longer period of time. The certificate for
membership fee and donations up to â - 100, formerly issued once
a year, will therefore become unnecessary. Once more we would like to
draw your attention to the important information in the letter that
was sent to you together with the membership card.
Membership fees
The general meeting has approved the executive committee proposal to
rise the membership fees by â- 5.00 per person beginning January
1st 2007.
From January 1st 2007 the fees will
be as follows:
Individual members: â- 40.00 per year
Married couples: â- 50.00 per year
Corporate members: â- 50.00 per year
We recommend to our foreign members the payment by credit card. We accept
EUROCARD/Mastercard and VISA-Card. The additional fee amounts to 3.1%.

Foreign members who prefer to transfer their membership fees (IBAN:
DE08 8601 0090 0067 2279 08, BIC [SWIFT-Code]: PBNKDEFF) are kindly
requested to take account of the additional charge, the amount may inquired
at the respective bank. Your membership fee should arrive on the NBG
account without the loss of banking charges. Please do not forget to
indicate your name and address. Otherwise your payment cant not be associated.
We suggest your avoiding cheques since we will be charged by â‚15.00
per cheque when cashing it. In this case we prefer your payment in cash.
Donations
The remittance slip that is enclosed to this issue is intended for
your payment of the membership fee 2007 (for those members who have
not done this yet). It may also be used for donations in support of
the Johann-Sebastian-Bach-Stiftung. The current balance adds up to
â- 50.000. We kindly recommend this foundation to you.
The executive committee is deeply grateful for your readiness to donate
proven during the first half of the year 2007. We kindly request your
benevolent and continuous endorsement.
